Why don’t’ you try to cook Osechi-ryori’ for 2017 New Year’s meal?

Osechi-ryori cooking class (Language : English)

 
Date and time :10th December 2016 from 10h30 to 13h00

 at Kitchen Studio Pomegranate (7 minutes from Ebisu Station and 5 minutes from Daikanyama station)

 


 
Japanese people eat osechi-ryori on New year’s.

It is offered as a prayer for the safety and good health of the household and family members throughout the year.

Kitchen Studio Pomegranate will introduce some simple and easy osechi dishes that are also suitable for party recipes.

 

Here’s some examples

*Datemaki , sweet rolled omelette mixed with fish paste or mashed shrimp.

*Kuro-mame , black soybeans.

*Kohaku-namasu , made of daikon and carrot cut into thin strips and pickled in sweetened vinegar with yuzu flavor.

*Tazukuri , dried sardines cooked in soy sauce

*Zōni , a soup of mochi rice cakes in clear broth (in eastern Japan) or miso broth (in western Japan).

*Kamaboko, broiled fish cake. Kazunoko, herring roe. Konbu, a kind of seaweed. Tai , red sea-bream.. Ebi , skewered prawns etc..

a type of Japanese pickle made by fermented vegetables in rice bran.

Here’s my little assistant taking care of bran floor.
